PATHfinder Real-Time PCR kits are primary tools for modern food and water quality and safety testing. The kits detect in different sample the presence and the identity of microrganisms through their DNA.The kits are developed according to the norms ISO22119, hence they include an internal amplification control, a positive and a negative control. Each kit contains reagents sufficient for 50 multiplex reactions: the target microorganisms are detected using the fluorophores FAM, TexasRed and CY5; the internal amplification control (IAC) is detected using the fluorophore HEX. When paired to an appropriate DNA extraction kit (e.g. Generon FASTfood - Cat# EXD009), this kit detects highly conserved sequences of diverse Listeria species.
